I’m so excited to share my homemade anti-aging eye cream recipe with you today! My regular readers know I’m very mindful about what I eat and the personal care and cleaning products I use. The skin absorbs 60% of what we apply to it, so it’s critical to check ingredient labels to ensure you aren’t willingly putting toxins on your skin in the name of beauty.
I make all of my own products (check out my toothpaste recipe and a snippet from my debut novel, Sweet Redemption, which I’m currently querying to literary agents – you can learn more about Sweet Redemption and my main characters Trevor and Brooklyn here, here, here, here and here) and once you see how easy it is to do, I hope you’ll try my recipes. Why not get started with your own batch of homemade anti-aging eye cream?
Why did I include the minimal ingredients that I did?
Coconut oil is a super ingredient that I use in many of my personal care products. I rarely cook with it because I don’t consider it a high heat oil (try avocado and grapeseed instead), but it’s an amazing moisturizer, antibiotic, multivitamin, multi-nutrient and antioxidant.
Vitamin E is a safe and effective antioxidant that can prevent premature aging and promote healing naturally.
Frankincense essential oils rejuvenate skin and can even get rid of fine lines and wrinkles.
That’s it! You don’t need unnatural synthetics to take care of your skin. In my opinion, less is more and homemade products are gentler, cheaper and equally effective.

This sounds good. My wife would like to know how well a mixer will stand up to whipping the coconut oil, especially in terms of cleaning the oil off the mixer and not making a mess in the sink. Thanks!
If you use solid oil and not liquid, it works perfectly! I use a deep bowl with the mixer on low speed and it gets very fluffy, but doesn’t liquify or spray everywhere. Hot water gets it right off the mixer blades 😁
Thanks. I think we will try it. We have to get the frankincense.
She can use any essential oil she prefers if she doesn’t have that one on hand. They all have great benefits!
Thanks. We have lavender.
