I hope you had a wonderful holiday season with your loved ones. Children make Christmas so special, and I am so grateful for my little ones pattering around the house. They were so excited by Santa’s visit, even though my daughter is a bit scared of the big guy.
This month, we went to look at holiday lights, attended several Christmas parties and events, and spent lots of time together as a family. This week, we are going to take it easy and enjoy all those new toys while still getting regular doses of (frigid) outside time.
I can’t believe we’re staring the face of 2025, but I feel that way every year, especially in adulthood. The older you get, the faster time seems to speed up. We won’t be doing anything too extravagent to ring in the new year other than a countdown party at noon (yes, you read the time right) and snuggling up at home. Life with young kids is very glamorous!
