Today is the Friend Zoned cover reveal! This story releases on June 21 as part of the Summer Heat anthology and will eventually be a standalone book. If you’re a blogger or active reviewer, you can still sign-up for an ARC.
I’m currently in the process of editing Friend Zoned. This is a part of writing that most authors hate, but I really enjoy it. I love reading the story after it’s come together and making last minute refinements before it goes to my actual editor.
I only have my son’s naptimes to work, so everything is taking a lot longer with a 6 month old baby at home. But I wouldn’t trade this wonderfully chaotic time in my life for the world. Being his mom is my all-time favorite job.
Just in case you missed it, here’s the Friend Zoned blurb:
In a stranger photoshoot, two people get to know each other on camera. Sometimes sparks fly, sometimes they fizzle. Rarely does lust turn to love…
My business and charitable organization mean everything to me, and I have no time for distractions. I’m not lacking female company when I want it, but I never deviate from one simple rule – friends with benefits only.
When I’m badgered into participating in a stranger photoshoot, I don’t expect much. Local women and tourists have always fallen at my feet, and I don’t need help meeting my next date.
Except Antonia has me wanting more for the first time. She can try to resist me, but I always get what I want.
And that’s her.
After being fired from a big city law firm, I flee to the seaside town where I spent childhood summers. When my only friend in the area begs me to be part of her latest effort to go viral, I reluctantly agree.
I haven’t officially met Tucker, but I know of him. He leaves broken hearts across the continental United States, and I refuse to be another notch on his bed post. He might be fun to touch, but for once, Tucker has been friend zoned.
At the end of the summer, I’m leaving the beach – and everything that goes with it – behind me.
And that includes him.
